From the Champs-Elysées to the Tuileries Garden, a successful walk with children!
Travelling with children can sometimes seem difficult to organise or manage, especially when you're on holidays in a capital like Paris.

The Elysees Mermoz hotel is a 4-star hotel in a great location, a 5-minutes walk from the Champs-Elysees. This ideal location will allow you to get about to tourist destinations very quickly under good conditions. Weather permitting, why not go on a pleasant stroll to the Tuileries garden by following this fun route. Go through the small garden at the Champs-Elysées (a 5 minutes walk from the hotel). This garden is wonderful with its benches, swings, lawns, flowers and especially the Guignol theatre. This show is open to children and adults during the school holidays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The show starts every day at 3pm, 4pm and 5pm and we can assure that you will have a great time. Children will love it. On the outskirts of the Champs-Elysées garden, continuing in the direction of Place de la Concorde, you'll find many stalls selling drinks, pancakes and ice cream, which may be the ideal time to treat yourself.
We then suggest you take your time at the Tuileries Garden. The garden is huge, with very comfortable chairs that are long where you can sit back and relax for some chill-out time in the sun. Children will also be kept busy as there are many outdoor games, pools of water to play with boats on and even ponies to ride on while having a look around. If you come during the summer holidays, you will also be able to discover the fun fair set up in the garden. So in this case, get ready to go from a relaxing walk to a much livlier experience, which will also delight children.
