A Masterpiece of Refurbishment.

It has taken two years to renovate the world famous Musée d’Orsay in Paris without ever having to close its doors to the public. An achievement in itself.
This entire revamp had become more and more necessary as the museum welcomes over 3 million visitors annually. Today its treasures are displayed in all their glory with a new high-tech lighting system. Inventive and clever colour coding trace the different periods and styles. Vibrant red walls for the Arts and Crafts Movement, cool grey tones for the huge Impressionist collection including Monet, Caillebotte and Renoir to name but a few and bold blue backdrops for the Post Impressionist section.

The afficionado and the amateur art lover will be enthralled!

Opening Times: Every day except Monday from 09h30 – 18h
