A Refined and Gastronomic Treasure

Recently opened, the restaurant L’Instant d’Or has already captivated all those lucky enough to have discovered its culinary masterpieces. Young chef, Frédéric Duca, who has trained in the highly regarded Fouquet’s and with the Michelin-rated Hélène Darroze amongst others in Paris, is in command of this top flight kitchen. The restaurant has been designed with the same skill and attention to detail as each of the dishes on the menu and creates an ambiance ranging from romantic to contemporary where the juxtaposition of the three different styles is in total harmony. There are three dining areas from which to choose: the first where a celestial chandelier by Géraud de Torsiac proudly hangs. The second, more passionate, uses the soft, red fabric of the chairs creating a theatrical look and lastly, the romantic room, decorated in timeless and elegant Jouy fabric. The seduction of the senses continues. A first course of Salmon Tataki with Imperial French caviar, a fluffy cauliflower mousseline and a refreshing cucumber sorbet was followed by corn fed chicken, reared in the Landes region of France accompanied by fresh spring vegetables. Our critic was in awe on savouring the lemon dessert with a celery sorbet exclaiming it to be one of the best dishes she had ever tasted.

Accolades indeed, this restaurant is sure to be a Parisian favourite.

Opening Hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 12h30 to 14h30 and 19h30 to 22h30.
