Mecca of emerging contemporary art
While Olivier Filippi is currently exhibiting at the Richard Gallery, we have decided to tell you a bit more about this place dedicated to art.
Founded in 1989, the Richard Gallery was formerly called the OZ Gallery. Dedicated to digital art with artists such as Artus Pixel or Vera Molnar, it became famous being the first Parisian place to represent the New-Yorker baroque artists like Arch Connelly or Pepon Osorio.
October 2002 was the month of revival with a moving out to the romantic Ile-Saint-Louis, particularly appreciated by American collectors and a change of perspective towards contemporary painting. Since January 2006, the gallery set up in the trendy district of the Marais where many excellent gallery owners chose to establish themselves. The Richard Gallery opened a second gallery in Chelsea, New York in September 2008, to have a better exposure around the globe.
To discover in the gallery : the very colorful graphic works of Beverly Fishman and those of Carl Fudge who uses the digital process in his pictorial practice.
Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm.
